Bas Jongerius

Bas Jongerius is a seasoned lecturer and freelance professional with extensive experience in photography and journalism. Currently serving as a Lecturer in Photography and Creative Writing at Windesheim since January 2022, Jongerius has been an independent photographer and journalist since 1998, working with NGOs, travel, and business magazines. Additional roles include Photographer with De Beeldunie and Creator/Dutch Language Specialist at Welocalize, focusing on AI and machine learning in language creation. Jongerius has held teaching positions at various institutions, including ROC Friese Poort and Terra, and possesses a Master's degree in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam, along with pedagogical qualifications and advanced training in journalism writing.
