Kees Pieters

Kees Pieters is an experienced academic and research professional with a diverse background in various fields, including maritime robotics, big data, and IoT. Currently serving as an Academic Tutor at Windesheim since February 2022, Kees also holds the position of Research Professor at Dirksen Opleidingen and has been the Owner of Condast since January 2005, focusing on consultancy and in-house projects. Kees previously worked at Hogeschool Rotterdam as a Research Professor in Port Information, concentrating on high-complexity areas related to Rotterdam's port. Kees completed a Ph.D. in Complex Systems and Humanistics from the University of Humanistics and has held multiple roles in software consulting and project management at various companies. Kees's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Informatics and an engineering degree in Electrotechnics.
