Thor Simon

Thor Simon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in security engineering and snowsports instruction. Currently, Thor serves as a Snowsports Instructor at Windham Mountain and as Senior Vice President of Security Engineering at Two Sigma, where a focus on productivity and security is emphasized. Previous positions at Two Sigma include roles such as Vice President for Security Special Projects, where Thor led the development of an award-winning virtualization-enabled laptop platform, and Vice President for Security Architecture, overseeing threat assessments and security policies. Thor has also contributed as a developer for The NetBSD Foundation and served in security roles for various organizations, including Team Bloomberg during the 2020 presidential campaign. A former Principal Engineer at Coyote Point Systems, adjunct professor at Stevens Institute of Technology, and telecommunications director at U.Communications, Thor possesses a rich background in both technology and education, backed by a summa cum laude Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Columbia University.
