Corey Townsend

Corey Townsend is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic account management, program management, and consulting within various sectors, including telecommunications and travel. Currently serving as Director of Strategic Accounts at Windstream, Corey oversees medium to large accounts in the data access and services division. As President and Owner of Wishdrawals Travel, LLC, Corey leads a nationwide team of 82 travel agents, managing marketing and planning for over 2,000 trips annually, achieving sales revenue of $5 million in 2019. Previous roles include Program Manager and Chief of Staff at Sprint, where responsibilities ranged from performance analysis for the C-suite to managing budgets and executive escalations, as well as significant project management in software development at Amdocs. Corey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science/Economics from the University of West Georgia and a Graduate degree in Russian Language from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center.
