William Brown

William Brown is an experienced IP Planning Engineer III at Windstream since January 2005, responsible for monitoring network capacity, planning installations, and forecasting for production IP and telemetry networks. With a solid history in telecommunications, previous roles include Implementation Engineer III, coordinating installations of data and VOIP devices, and multiple positions within Network Operations Centers where monitoring and troubleshooting of diverse network systems were paramount. Prior to Windstream, William held positions at Advance America, Ionosphere, Inc., Suncom Telecorp, Bell Atlantic, and served in the US Navy as an FC2 SPY-1B radar technician. William holds an Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from West Virginia State University and has completed specialized training in radar systems and fire control.
