Eli Zakashansky

Eli Zakashansky has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years in various leadership and technical roles. Eli is currently working at Windward as an R&D Director, where they focus on fostering and supporting junior managers while creating an atmosphere for all group members to excel. Prior to this, they served as a Software Development Group Leader and Software Development Team Lead at Windward, where they managed full-stack engineers and drove a cultural and technological transition towards CI/CD.

Before joining Windward, Eli worked at Checkmarx as a Platform R&D Manager, overseeing the development of applications and SDLC integration products. Eli also served as a Software Development Team Lead, scaling the team and establishing an R&D managers community of practice.

Eli's early career includes significant roles at NICE Systems, where they worked as an R&D Group Leader, Software Team Leader, Scrum Master, and Software Engineer. Eli was responsible for delivering business applications, setting high standards and clear goals, and mentoring younger developers. Eli also led agile teams and focused on building a collaborative and result-driven atmosphere.

Prior to their time at NICE Systems, Eli worked at Motorola Solutions as an SW Student and at Nielsen Online as a QA Engineer, where they led the testing of SW products and handled system administration tasks.

Eli Zakashansky attended Bar-Ilan University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics.
