Gur Sender has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Gur started their career in the Israeli Navy, where they served as a Navy Cadet and acquired skills and qualifications to command a Navy vessel. Gur later became a Combat Ship Commander, responsible for operating a combat ship and receiving recognition for their outstanding performance. Gur also served as a Commanding Officer of a special operation unit, leading a team of 40 people in small Navy boats.
Following their military service, Gur transitioned into the private sector, working as a Special Project Manager at Crescent Heights. In this role, they managed a pilot program for a valet parking operation and coordinated various design teams. Gur then joined PLYmedia as a Mobile and Display Sales Manager, where they facilitated connections between advertisers and direct publishers through the Adstract ad network.
Gur further expanded their expertise in the advertising field at Adstract, where they worked as a Traffic Quality Manager, overseeing operations for advertisers and publishers. Gur played a crucial role in ensuring quality in online advertising and instructed optimization for accounts.
Their journey continued at Edge (edge226.com), where they held the positions of Traffic Quality Team Leader and Programmatic Team Leader. As Traffic Quality Team Leader, they managed operations for both advertisers and publishers, emphasizing the importance of quality in online advertising. In their role as Programmatic Team Leader, they oversaw programmatic buying and provided guidance on managing platforms and DSPs.
Currently, Gur works at Windward as a Product Manager and Solution Expert Manager. Their responsibilities include leading and managing prospect engagements from a technical and operational perspective, tailoring solutions to meet organizational needs, and being in charge of the RFP/RFI/RFQ process.
