Sam Behrend

Sam Behrend is a Product Manager at Wine-Searcher, where they lead a team developing the core search experience for the world's largest search engine for wine, beer, and spirits. They also managed the AI team building Wine-Searcher's chatbot, Casey. Additionally, they worked as a Contributing Writer at Narrative Muse, a media start-up dedicated to promoting works by women and non-binary creators. Prior to this, they were a Lighting Assistant on various film and commercial projects and held roles as a Sales Assistant and Shift Supervisor at different companies. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Theory from the University of Otago and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Screen Production from The University of Auckland.
