Shawn Walker

Shawn Walker, MBA, has extensive experience in regulatory compliance, particularly in the alcoholic beverage industry. Shawn currently serves as the Director of Regulatory Compliance at The Winebow Group, where they oversee the approval process for thousands of products and manages licensing for multiple parent and subsidiary companies. Prior to that, they held several leadership positions at the Alcohol Beverage Control division of the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. As Deputy Chief/Director of the Bureau of Law Enforcement, they implemented strategic programs and built effective relationships with other agencies and the regulated community. Shawn also served as Deputy Director of Field Operations and Special Agent in Charge, where they managed statewide law enforcement efforts and supervised special investigative units.

Shawn Walker, MBA, has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Public Law from Old Dominion University, which they obtained from 1989 to 1991. From 2007 to 2009, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business from Averett University. Additionally, they hold an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Administration of Justice from Central Virginia Community College, completed from 1987 to 1989.
