Cory MacInnes

Cory MacInnes has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Cory'smost recent position is as a Product Owner at WineDirect, starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Ecommerce Manager at Alpha Omega Winery from May 2018 to August 2021.

Cory also has experience at WineDirect (formerly Vin65), where they held multiple roles. Cory was a Senior Lead Project Manager in the Professional Services department from October 2017 to May 2018. Before that, they served as a Lead Project Manager in the Client Services division from December 2016 to November 2017. Cory initially started at WineDirect as a Customer Support Specialist, providing technical and client support, from February 2016 to November 2016.

Earlier in their career, Cory founded and served as Principal of Wine News and Beyond, from January 2015 to December 2017. Cory also took a Gap Year in South America from October 2013 to December 2014.

Cory's work history includes roles as an Epicurean at the Napa Valley Film Festival from November 2011 to October 2013, and as a Wine and Spirits Educator at Hotel Yountville from August 2011 to October 2013. Cory also worked as a Campaign Manager at Tenacious Enterprises from February 2011 to April 2012.

Cory MacInnes obtained a Wine Business Management Certification from Sonoma State University in 2017. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2010, Cory earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from California State University, Chico. In addition to these academic qualifications, Cory has also obtained additional certifications, including a Blockchain Fundamentals Professional Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley in June 2020, an Advanced Google Analytics Certified credential from Google in February 2020, and a WSET Level I certification from WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust, although the month and year of completion are unknown.
