Michael Ryan is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in embedded systems and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Winegard Company since April 2014, Michael specializes in board BSP development, including porting u-boot and Linux, as well as writing drivers for new hardware platforms and investigating new product concepts. Prior to this role, Michael held positions as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Cambium Networks and as a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Motorola Mobility, where Michael contributed to various advanced technical projects from July 1989 to April 2014. Michael began a professional career at Northrop Grumman Corporation as an Engineer in 1988. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, earned between 1984 and 1988.
