Joe Forbes

Joe Forbes is an experienced leader in the manufacturing and automation sectors, currently serving as the Director of the Versatech Division and co-founder at Versatech Automation since October 2008. Prior to this role, Joe held significant positions at Hitachi Metals America, including Director of Plant Operations and General Manager from January 2003 to December 2009. Joe also worked as a Lean Manufacturing Consultant and Project Manager at IMEC from 1999 to 2003, and spent nearly a decade at John Crane Inc. / Forsheda Engineered Seals, where responsibilities included Plant Engineering Manager and Machine Design Engineer from February 1990 to February 1999. Joe Forbes earned an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville between 1998 and 2000 and holds a B.S. in Electronics Technology Management from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, completed in 1989.
