Andre Spicher

Andre Spicher has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andre started their career as an Aircraft Mechanic at SR Technics Group in 2000. In 2002, they joined Wärtsilä as a Service Engineer for 2-Stroke Engines. Andre later served as a Senior Superintendent for Technical Services for 2-Stroke Engines from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as an Engine Testing Expert and then as the Site Office Manager at Hudong Heavy Machinery. Andre was promoted to the role of Assistant General Manager for Site Offices in China in 2010. In 2012, they moved to Winterthur Gas & Diesel Ltd. and served as the General Manager for Product Management in China. Andre was responsible for lifecycle management, benchmarking, and product improvement. Andre also played a key role in building a new department in China, overseeing process definition, recruiting, training, and support of new personnel. In 2015, they became the General Manager for Operations in China. In 2017, Andre joined WinGD as the Manager for Marketing & Application, and in 2019, they assumed the position of GM Global Engineering Centre.

Andre Spicher attended BBZ Dietikon from 2004 to 2007 where they obtained a Professional Bachelor degree in Mechatronics Engineering. In 2010, they attended the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) for a year, focusing on Business Administration and Management. In 2012, they briefly attended Shanghai Jiao Tong University to study Project Management.
