Flavio Soppelsa

Flavio Soppelsa is currently the General Manager of Testing & Validation at WinGD, overseeing the Engine Research & Innovation Centre. With a strong background in mechanical engineering, Flavio previously held roles as Senior Team Leader of Abatement Technologies and Team Leader of Emission Abatement at WinGD, where they focused on developing emission solutions for marine engines. Prior to their time at WinGD, Flavio worked as a Development Engineer at FPT INDUSTRIAL and gained foundational experience as a car mechanic at Auto Lang. Flavio holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from ZHAW and a Dipl. Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from FH Konstanz.
