Jan Smit

Jan Smit has a diverse work experience in the engineering and maritime industry. Jan started their career at Winterthur Gas & Diesel Ltd. in 2015 as a Licensee Test Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Wärtsilä from 2008. At Wärtsilä, Jan held various roles including Performance Test Engineer, Testing Engineer, Superintendent, and Field Service Engineer. Their time at Wärtsilä spanned from 2008 to 2014.

Jan Smit completed a Dipl. Engineer HF degree in Mechanical Engineering from ZbW St.Gallen, starting in 2008 and finishing in 2010.
