Research Engineer at WinGD

Martin Bohnenblust has a diverse work experience in various roles. Martin started working at WinGD - Winterthur Gas & Diesel in 2011 as an Officer in the Schweizer Armee until 2013. Martin then did a workshop internship at Georg Utz AG (CH) in 2013. In 2016, Martin joined WinGD again for an internship, which lasted until 2017. Martin returned to WinGD in 2017 as a Future Tech Employee for a few months. Since 2019, Martin has been working at WinGD as a Research Engineer and later as an Emissions Engineer. In these roles, they have been involved in acquiring emission measurement equipment, coordinating and executing special emission measurements, leading a project for implementing a new ERP system, and working on various projects related to measurement technologies, data analysis, and electronics.

Martin Bohnenblust completed their education at ETH Zürich. From 2013 to 2016, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering. Martin then pursued a Master of Science (M. Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications related to IT support and security from Coursera. These certifications include the Google IT Support Specialization, IT Security: Defense against the digital dark arts, Operating Systems and You: Becoming a Power User, System Administration and IT Infrastructure Services, Technical Support Fundamentals, and The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking.
