Tao SUN

Tao SUN has several years of work experience in the maritime industry, with a focus on engine service and commissioning. They started their career as a Marine Engineer at China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO) in 2008 and worked there until 2011. They then moved on to QMD, where they served as a Commissioning Engineer and Site Office Support, primarily involved in commissioning and ensuring the performance of RT-flex engines. They worked at QMD from 2011 to 2015. Following this, Tao joined Wärtsilä China as a Service Engineer of 2s, responsible for engine service, and remained with the company until 2021. Their most recent role was at WinGD - Winterthur Gas & Diesel, where they worked in operation support starting from 2016.

Tao Sun completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from China University of Petroleum (Huadong) from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, Tao Sun earned another Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Qingdao Ocean Shipping Mariners College from 2004 to 2008.
