Bikram Sengupta

Bikram Sengupta has a diverse work experience in the technology and research field. Bikram is currently serving as the Chief Scientist & VP of Engineering, Director at Wingsure Technologies Private Limited, where they oversee technology research, product development, and the management of engineering and R&D teams. Their role also involves providing inputs for intellectual property creation and driving high-impact product launches. Prior to this, Bikram worked as a Consultant Director in Research & Innovation at iMerit Technology from July 2018 to May 2021. Bikram also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Anudip Foundation during the same period. Before that, they spent several years at IBM Research, holding various positions such as Senior Manager, Senior Technical Staff Member, and Research Staff Member. Their roles at IBM Research included managing projects related to cognitive education, interactions, and smarter education, as well as services analytics.

Bikram Sengupta completed their Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering (B.C.S.E) degree in Computer Science from Jadavpur University from 1994 to 1998. Bikram then pursued further education at Stony Brook University, where they obtained both a Master of Science (MS) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from 1998 to 2003.
