Jay Strickland has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jay started their career as a Computer Science Dept Staff and Lab Administrator at North Carolina State University in 1995, where they worked until 1998. Following that, Jay served in the USAF, first as a Lt from 1998 to 2000, and then as a Captain from 2000 to 2002. In 2000, they founded and became the CEO of WingSwept, a company focused on leveraging technology to help customers achieve better results. At WingSwept, Jay leads a talented team of professionals from various industries, including the US Government and small businesses.
Jay Strickland obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Jay has also obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in January 2021.

WingSwept provides Managed IT Services and computer network support to small and mid-size businesses in the Triangle area of North Carolina. Helping our clients leverage technology to achieve their business objectives, increase workforce efficiency, and minimize risk from network failure, viruses and data loss without having to add IT staff is our focus. We've also built a Case Management and Tracking System (CMTS) for government investigative agencies that helps them increase their efficiency, and align their people, processes and policies through a case management platform that enables them to secure all of their data in one place.
