Jasper Jonker

Senior Industralization Engineer at Wingtra

Jasper Jonker has been involved in a variety of roles since 2011. From 2011-2016, they worked as a Sales Assistant at Van den Broek IJzerwaren and Bever. In 2015, they became a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Science and Technology (TNW) at University of Twente, where they tutored Laboratory course on Analogue Electronics. In 2018, they participated in ETH Week, a programme where they were encouraged to join a critical and multi-faceted discussion to analyse the world we live in. In 2019, they were an R&D Intern in product development of environmental sensors at Sensirion. Currently, they are a Software Engineer in the industrialization department at Wingtra, where they have managed and developed a project to install a log shipper on local and remote (GKE/Google) Kubernetes clusters with Filebeat, Prometheus, Logstash, Elasticsearch and Loki. Jasper has also been the lead designer and implementer for various Continuous Integration (CI) tests in the company's GitHub repository.

Jasper Jonker's educational history includes completing a VWO at Landstede Vavo from 2013-2014, a Havo from 2008-2013 at RSG Slingerbos-Levant, a Bachelor's degree in Advanced Technology from University of Twente from 2014-2017, a Summer School in Particle Physics from University of Science and Technology of China in 2017, and an Msc. in Physics from ETH Zürich from 2017-2019.
