Markus Jung

Markus Jung began their work experience in 2003 as a Geomatiker with the GEOINFO-Gruppe. Markus completed their Geomatikerlehre from August 2003 to July 2007, followed by a role as a Geomatiker from August 2007 to August 2009.

In 2015, Markus joined NIS AG, where they held the position of Softwareingenieur from February 2015 to March 2019. Markus then transitioned to the role of Scrum Master/Senior Software Ingenieur from April 2019 to September 2022.

Currently, in 2022, they are working at Wingtra as a Technical Project Manager, starting in September 2022.

Apart from their regular work, Markus has also been a member of the QSK der Geomatiktechniker Ausbildung at Trägerverein Geomatiker/in Schweiz since January 2021.

Markus Jung's education history is as follows:

From 2003 to 2007, Markus attended BBZ Zürich and obtained a degree in Geomatiker EFZ.

In 2009, they completed their Berufsmatura in a technical field at BZ Uzwil.

From 2010 to 2013, Markus pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Geomatik at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW.

Markus then went on to pursue an MSc in Engineering with a specialization in Geoinformationstechnologie at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, completing it from 2013 to 2015.

In 2016, Markus earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Big Data from Berner Fachhochschule BFH.

Additionally, Markus has obtained various certifications including Professional Agile Leadership™ I (PAL I) from Scrum.org in May 2022, Kubernetes DevOps Engineer from Letsboot.ch in December 2020, and has participated in a course on Professional Scrum Master at Digicomp Academy AG.
