Steve Schultz

Steve Schultz has a diverse work experience, spanning various roles and industries. Steve is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Winnebago County, a position they have held since June 2023. Steve is also the Co-Owner and Treasurer of South Cliff Inn since January 2023. In addition, they served on the River Bluff Nursing Home Board of Directors from March 2023 to June 2023. Previously, Steve was a Board Member for Winnebago County from December 2008 to November 2022. Steve was also a Board Member and Treasurer for Church Multiplication Partners from January 2013 to May 2021. Steve held multiple positions at Converge, including CEO of Converge Retirement Plan and Cornerstone Fund, from August 1989 to May 2021. Steve was the CFO of Vision 360 from September 2004 to December 2012. Before that, Steve worked as a Middle Market Audit Staff Accountant at KPMG US from February 1987 to July 1989.

Steve Schultz completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting and Finance at Bethel University, St. Paul, MN from 1984 to 1987. In 1988, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Minnesota. Following this, Steve attended Becker CPA Review Course for CPA exam preparation in 1988. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University from 1994 to 1999.
