Carol Bender

Carol Bender has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2008 when they worked as a Production Assistant at Los 7 Contra Tebas. In 2014, they became a Language Assistant at Casa Cultural Colombo Alemana. From 2016-2017, Carol worked as a Lecturer of German as a Foreign Language at Technische Universität Ilmenau. In 2017, they took on two roles at K-UTEC AG SALT TECHNOLOGIES, as an Assistant to the Management and a Foreign Language Secretary/Technical Translator. In 2020, they became a Project Manager at IIK Bayreuth e.V. and most recently in 2021, they were appointed Head of Quality Management at Fyrfeed, a German marketing-tech startup that specializes in writing high-quality social media posts for B2B clients around the world.

Carol Bender received their Master of Arts in Lateinamerikanische Studien from Leipzig University in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Romanische Sprachen, Literaturen und Linguistik from Friedrich Schiller University Jena in 2012. In addition, Carol holds certifications from EXIN as a Scrum Foundation, obtained in October 2019, and from Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena as an Interkulturelle Trainerin, obtained in August 2019.
