Phillip Philbin

Phillip Philbin is a seasoned trial lawyer with extensive experience in technology and intellectual property cases, achieving significant victories on both sides of the litigation spectrum involving large sums of money. Currently a shareholder at Winstead PC and an adjunct professor at SMU Dedman School of Law, Phillip previously served as a partner at Thompson & Knight LLP and spent nearly three decades at Haynes and Boone, LLP, where leadership roles included contributions to the firm’s Board of Directors and oversight of both the Intellectual Property and Business Litigation Sections. Early in his career, Phillip clerked for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Phillip holds a J.D. from Baylor University School of Law and a B.S. in Engineering Science from Trinity University.
