Timothy Murphy

Timothy Murphy, CFE, currently serves as the SVP Director of Fraud Transaction Monitoring at Wintrust Financial Corporation, a position held since June 2000. In this role, Timothy is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective best practices for loss prevention and physical security across all business units of the Wintrust charters and subsidiaries. Additionally, Timothy has significant experience from Hinsdale Bank & Trust Company, where, as SVP & COO from June 2000 to June 2016, oversight was provided for the Deposit and Loan Operations departments, along with responsibilities as the Physical Security Officer and Information Security & Business Continuity Officer, managing operations across 12 bank buildings and their tenants.
