Lorena Rivera León

Lorena Rivera León is a Senior Economist and the co-editor of the Global Innovation Index at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). With over 15 years of experience as a researcher, policy analyst, and consultant, Lorena has contributed to various projects for the European Commission, UNESCO, and the OECD. At WIPO, Lorena constructs and develops the statistical model for the innovation index and provides technical advice on innovation policy to multiple countries. Lorena holds a Doctor's Degree in Economics from UNU-MERIT and a Master of Arts from the University of British Columbia and Université Grenoble Alpes.
