Peter Waring

Peter Waring is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of intellectual property, currently serving as Senior Counselor in the PCT Business Development Division at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) since April 2018. Waring has held various roles at WIPO since 2003, including Head of Technical Cooperation Section and Ex Senior Counselor, Head of PCT Technical Cooperation. Prior to joining WIPO, Waring worked as a Senior Consultant at Xerox from 1988 to 2003. Waring's educational background includes A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from Deben High School and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Bristol.
