Sylvie Forbin is the Deputy Director General of the Copyright and Creative Industries Sector at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a position held since 2016. Previously, Sylvie was the Senior Vice President for Public and European Affairs at Vivendi from 2001 to 2016. Sylvie's diplomatic career includes roles as Head of Communications and Press Services at the French Embassy in Beijing, Counsellor at the Permanent Representation of France to the European Union, and Vice Cultural Counsellor at the French Embassy in Italy. Sylvie holds multiple degrees from Sciences Po in International Relations and International Economics, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Classics and Literature from Université Paris-Sorbonne.
