Andy S.

Andy S. has a long and varied work experience. Andy began their career in 2001 as a Software Design Engineer at Racal Instruments, where they designed, implemented, documented, and tested GSM Conformance Test Scripts using Visual Basic. In 2003, they moved to Aeroflex, where they held two roles: Senior Applications Engineer and Applications Support Engineer. In this role, they managed and owned customer issues, liaised directly with customers, and determined and resolved technical problems. In 2008, Andy moved to GTL-Europe as a Telecommunications Engineer, where they deployed and supported 802. 16e WiMAX networks. In 2009, they joined Endace as a Product Manager. In 2016, they joined Optimal Workshop as a Product Lead and Product Manager. In 2019, they began working at The Last Pickle as a Senior Product Manager, and continued in this role after the company's successful acquisition and integration into DataStax. In 2020, Andy joined DataStax as a Senior Product Manager. Finally, in 2021, they became the VP of Product at Wipster.

Andy S. obtained a BSc in Cybernetics and Control Engineering from the University of Reading between 1999 and 2001, with a focus on Signal Theory, Robotics, Neural Networks, and Control Systems. In 2009, they obtained a Cisco CCNA certification from Cisco. Andy also holds a Certified Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance.
