Christopher McBride

Christopher McBride is a Materials Science Engineer currently employed at WireCo WorldGroup since August 2022. Prior to this role, Christopher held a Research Fellowship at University College Dublin from January 2022 to August 2022, focusing on evaluating material changes in stainless steel post electropolishing. Christopher also gained research experience at the University of Arizona from August 2019 to December 2020, where hands-on expertise in polymer synthesis, 3D printing, CAD design, and filament extrusion was developed, alongside training in various material characterization techniques including DSC, TGA, MTS, SEM, and NMR. Christopher's educational background includes a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from University College Dublin (2021-2022) and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering with a focus on Polymer Chemistry from the University of Arizona (2016-2020).
