Alyssa Walker is WIRED's U.S. design director. Prior to working at WIRED she was the creative director at Willamette Week in Portland, Oregon. Her work has been recognized by the Association of Alternative Media and the Society of Professional Journalists. In another lifetime she designed for Nike, Hot Wheels, and Walmart.
