Gretchen McCulloch is a prominent linguist and writer recognized for extensive contributions to the field of linguistics and internet language. Currently serving as a Resident Linguist and Ideas columnist at WIRED since October 2018, Gretchen also co-hosts the podcast Lingthusiasm, focusing on engaging discussions about linguistics, alongside Lauren Gawne.
