Jacqui Vanliew

Jacqui VanLiew is a seasoned Senior Designer at WIRED since January 2022, specializing in illustrating web stories and designing print layouts while also commissioning and art directing artists. Prior experience includes roles as a Designer at the Ecology Center in Berkeley, where responsibilities included providing EBT technical support and designing promotional materials. Jacqui also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer, creating digital and print marketing materials for small businesses, and served as a Public Health Nutritionist for the Vermont Department of Health, counseling clients in nutrition and child development. Additionally, Jacqui was an Activity Specialist with AmeriCorps, focusing on nutrition and fitness for teens. Education includes a Professional Certificate in Graphic Design from UC Berkeley Extension and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Sciences from the University of Vermont.
