Katie Drummond

Katie Drummond currently serves as the Global Editorial Director at WIRED since August 2023, overseeing all global editions of the esteemed publication focused on technology, science, and culture. Prior to this role, Drummond was SVP of Global News & Entertainment at VICE Media from March 2019 to August 2023, managing a wide array of digital brands and a large team across multiple regions. Previous positions include Deputy Editor at Medium, Executive Editor at The Outline, and Executive Managing Editor at Gizmodo Media Group, where Drummond successfully transformed the publication into a leading outlet for original reporting. Additional experience encompasses roles at Bloomberg LP, The Verge, and as a founding reporter for The Daily. Drummond holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Queen's University.
