Vince Beiser

Vince Beiser is an accomplished author and journalist with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as an author for Penguin Random House since August 2015, Beiser wrote the investigative book “Power Metal: The Race for the Resources That Will Shape the Future” and the acclaimed “The World in a Grain: The Story of Sand and How It Transformed Civilization,” which garnered multiple award nominations. As a contributing editor for Playboy Enterprises and a contributing writer for Wired Magazine since 1998, Beiser has covered a range of topics, including environmental issues and geopolitical conflicts. Additionally, Beiser held leadership roles, including Senior Editor at Wired Science and Articles Editor at Pacific Standard Magazine.
