Peng Wang

Head of Radio Access Networks - Indoor Networks at Wireless Infrastructure Group

Peng Wang has over 14 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Ranplan Wireless Network Design Ltd. At Vilicom, they served as a Senior Engineer from 2012 to 2014, where they had responsibilities such as delivering design authority and mentoring junior engineers. Peng then joined Arqiva in 2014 as a Small Cells Consultant, where they were responsible for Small Cell designs and establishing a survey and planning tool capability. Since 2018, Peng has been working at Wireless Infrastructure Group, starting as an Engineering Manager for Indoor Networks and eventually becoming the Head of Radio Access Networks for Indoor Networks. In these roles, they oversaw design and build activities for 2/3/4/5G distributed network solutions and managed external I&C design resources. Peng's work experience demonstrates their expertise in wireless infrastructure design and management.

Peng Wang completed their Master of Philosophy degree in Wireless Communications at the University of Bedfordshire from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Internet Computing from the University of Luton, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Peng Wang has achieved the iBwave Level 3 Certificate twice, in April 2019 and October 2022, from iBwave Solutions Inc. Peng has also obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification from Cisco in April 2016.
