Mathias Lecuyer

Mathias Lecuyer is currently an Assistant Professor at The University of British Columbia and serves as the Head of Research at Wiremind, where they define the AI research vision and lead the research team. Previously, Mathias worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Microsoft Research and served as a Research Assistant at Columbia University, where they created a secure iOS application for reporting in conflict areas. Mathias co-founded Pionid, a mobile and web application start-up, and began their career as a Junior Consultant at Atos International, where they built a demo for a preservation-as-a-service system. Mathias holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same institution.
