Janne Siren

Janne Siren has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Janne's most recent position was as a Senior Software Design Engineer at Wirepas, where they started in September 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Test Automation Engineer at Wirepas from May 2018 to September 2019.

Before joining Wirepas, Janne worked at Wapice Ltd as a Senior Software Designer from October 2016 to May 2018.

Janne also gained valuable experience at Microsoft, where they worked as a Senior SW Engineer in Manufacturing Test Engineering from April 2014 to August 2016. In this role, they developed software to test hardware during the production process for Windows Phone. Their responsibilities included integration, debugging, HW build support, SW build automation, and SW test automation.

Janne began their career at Nokia in 1994, starting as a SW engineer in the MSC/HLR product line. They later took on the role of Senior SW Engineer, where they developed a test tool for online charging data transfer on the Windows platform. They also worked on tasks related to I/O service and storage devices. In another role as a Principal engineer, Janne focused on developing software to test hardware of MeeGo phones at various stages of the manufacturing line, with a particular emphasis on challenges introduced by new LTE modem technology.

Janne Siren obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Tampereen tekninen oppilaitos, where they attended from 1988 to 1992.
