Jussi Ylänen

Jussi Ylänen has a strong background in engineering and software development, with experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jussi started their career as a Research Assistant at TUT/Electronics in 1997 before joining Coherent Finland as a Senior Software Engineer in 1998. After six years at Coherent Finland, they moved to Nokia as a Research Engineer in 2004, later transitioning to the role of Senior Design Engineer. In 2007, Jussi joined Coherent, where they held the positions of Senior Software Engineer and Senior Electronic Design Engineer. Most recently, Jussi has been working at Wirepas USA LLC, starting as a Senior Electronic Design Engineer in 2013 and progressing to the role of Principal Staff Engineer in 2014. Their work experience at Wirepas USA LLC spans both hardware and software engineering roles.

Jussi Ylänen pursued their education from 1994 to 2003 at Tampere University of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Jussi obtained a certification in Agile Software Development from LinkedIn in December 2022.
