Kari Pihl

Kari Pihl has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kari started their career at Nokia in 1990, where they held different positions such as IC Designer, Project Manager, System Architect, and later became a Standardisation Manager and Senior Architect of Product Platforms. In 2007, they joined STMicroelectronics as an R&D Manager, responsible for Program Management and Cross Business Unit Operational Development. In 2009, they moved to ST-Ericsson, where they held the roles of R&D Manager for Test Team Management and Program Management. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Consultant of Stera Group Oy, focusing on Global Sourcing and Production Planning. Currently, they are at Wirepas, where they have been the Director and Head of Product Management and R&D since 2016, aiming to align product development and management with the dynamic business environment, ensuring added value for customers and meeting their expectations. Kari additionally took on the role of Head of Software Releases in May 2019.

Kari Pihl's education history begins with their high school degree from Paimion Lukio, which they obtained between 1983 and 1985. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Microelectronics & Digital Computer Technology from Tampere University of Technology, completing their studies between 1985 and 1991.

In addition to their formal education, Kari Pihl has obtained various certifications.
