Oula Välipakka

Oula Välipakka has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Oula started their career at Nokia in 1999 as a Graduate Trainee, where they worked on DSP System SW creation for mobile phone DSP engine. Oula then went on to work in roles such as Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, and Sr. System Integration Lead at Nokia until 2006.

Afterward, they joined STMicroelectronics as a Specialist from 2007 to 2008. Following that, Oula worked at ST-Ericsson as a Staff Engineer from 2009 to 2012 and as a Technology Management from 2012 to 2013.

Oula then moved to the International VC Zone, representing the city of Tampere as an Account Manager from 2013 to 2016. Afterward, Oula worked at Business Tampere, where they held various positions, including Manager of Invest in from 2013 to 2013, Senior Manager of Business Development and Invest in from 2014 to 2016, and Director of Renewing Industry from 2017 to 2018.

In 2018, they joined Demola Global as a Director of Business Development, where they were responsible for driving outbound sales and customer acquisition activities. Currently, Oula works at Wirepas as a Director of Sales and Business Development for Northern Europe and Eastern Europe, focusing on seeking new business opportunities, identifying new partners, and leading technical pre-sales and business term negotiations.

Oula Välipakka began their education in 1993 at Tampereen yhteiskoulun lukio, where they graduated from high school in 1996. Following this, from 1996 to 2000, they attended Tampere University of Applied Sciences and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. As part of their educational journey, Oula also participated in an Exchange Student Program at Universiti Sains Malaysia, where they studied at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from 1998 to 1999.
