Michael Pinkus

Michael Pinkus is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Wirex since February 2022, Michael previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Bitbond from September 2018 to September 2021. Prior to that, Michael was the Head of Institutional Investor Relations at Scope Ratings and served as Managing Director at IKB Asset Management, overseeing Alternative Finance and Business Development. Michael’s career also includes significant roles at Hengeler Mueller and KPMG, focusing on structured finance and corporate tax planning. Michael holds an LLM in Banking and Finance from the University of London, a Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law, and a BA in History with a focus on Russian from Texas A&M University.
