Daniel Marquès

Daniel Marquès is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as Engineering Team Lead for Emerging Tech at Sage since December 2020, Daniel also holds a position as a board member at WIRIS, contributing to the strategic direction of Maths for More. Prior roles include Software Architect and Chief Technology Officer at Aquí tu Reforma, where Daniel led IT processes for home renovation franchises. Daniel has a rich history with WIRIS math, serving as CTO, President, and Co-founder, overseeing technological and product development from 1999 to 2018. Earlier career highlights include roles as a consulting expert at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and as an educator in C and Visual C++ across multiple institutions. Daniel holds a Licenciatura in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Education from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and an MBA from EAE Business School.
