Michael Parrott

Dr. Michael Parrott is a Machine Learning Lead at WIRIS, focusing on innovating STEM education through AI and data science solutions. With over a decade of experience in developing machine learning models, they previously served as the founding director of Model Share AI at Columbia University, where they led the launch of a research-facing MLOps platform. Dr. Parrott has taught advanced courses in machine learning at Columbia and advised startups on their machine learning strategies. They also held a prestigious APSA Congressional Fellowship, contributing software engineering expertise to Congress. Currently, Dr. Parrott is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Maryland.
