Sara Fernandes

Sara Fernandes has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to 2024. Sara started their career at Mota-Engil as an Accounts Payable in the Finance department. After that, they worked at NOVO BANCO as a Sales Representative. Sara then joined IMF as a Sales Representative, focusing on expanding services to the Spanish market through outbound cold calling and managing the B2B sales cycle. Sara then moved to Oracle, where they worked as a Customer Intelligence Representative, Business Development Consultant, and Inside Sales Representative for Oracle Financial Services, Europe. Sara then joined Tableau Software, where they held various roles such as Strategic Sales Area Manager, Existing Business Sales Area Manager, and Enterprise Territory Manager. In their last role at Tableau Software, they served as a Senior Sales Manager, responsible for hiring, onboarding, and coaching account executives, as well as leading through change during the Covid-19 pandemic. Sara'smost recent position is as the Head of Sales at WIRIS. Overall, Sara Fernandes has gained extensive experience in sales and account management in the software industry.

Sara Fernandes holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidade do Porto, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Sara also has a Diploma in Sales Practice from Technological University Dublin, completed in 2014-2015. Prior to that, they received a Certificate in Sales Practice from Technological University Dublin in 2013. In 2011-2012, Sara pursued 28 ECTS - level 6 in Accounting and Business Management/Administration at Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto. Additionally, they hold an Elemental Degree in Violin from Conservatorio Municipal de Música Reveriano Soutullo, Ponteareas, Spain, which was completed from 2000 to 2004. Sara Fernandes has also acquired several certifications, including Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies from Emeritus in 2022 and Inside Sales Representative Certified from Oracle in 2014. Sara also obtained Accreditation in Advanced Prospecting from Dublin Institute of Technology in 2013.
