Alex Burt

Alex Burt has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Alex started as a Software Developer Intern at Bridgetown Wealth Management, where they assessed and identified problems in daily workflow systems and redesigned the company's proprietary website. Alex then worked as a Service Technician at George Fox University, where they learned best practices in working with people of different technical skill levels and collaborated on finding solutions. At Tekkis, they served as a Junior Software Developer, working on creating helpful services for clients, experimenting with web app development, and managing server/network infrastructures for dental/health clinics. Alex returned to George Fox University for a Senior Design Project with Tektronix, where they managed and oversaw the technical integration of a product and researched and developed a GPIB to ethernet interface. Alex is currently working at Summit Wireless Technologies Inc., where they started as a Software Engineer Intern and later became a Senior Software Engineering Lead, responsible for leading a team and developing software to enable increased efficiency and building a proprietary logging system for embedded systems.

Alex Burt attended George Fox University from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering.
