Ryan Kapsar has a diverse work experience that includes various roles and responsibilities. Ryan started their career as a Student Assistant at Eindhoven University of Technology, where they worked on analyzing the networks of scientists with dual affiliations and studying the impact of different organizations on collaboration. Ryan also completed their Masters thesis on academic spin-offs and technology incubators.

Following their time at the university, Kapsar worked as a Contributing Author at The Urban Times, where they wrote articles on science, technology, economics, and entrepreneurship. Ryan heavily influenced the initial reader base for the website with their 30 articles.

Kapsar then joined AMD as a Business Process Improvement Partner, leading international improvement projects and writing blogs on innovation and networking. Ryan later worked as a Lean Consultant at GreenField Health Systems before moving to Cambia Health Solutions, where they served as a Clinical Business Architect, focusing on process improvement.

In 2015, Kapsar joined Final Phase Systems as a Commercial and Program Manager, a role they continued when the company was acquired by INFICON in 2018. Ryan then transitioned to Summit Wireless Technologies Inc. as a Software Engineering Program Manager in 2019.

Later, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Masters degree in Innovation Sciences, Technology and Public Policy from the Eindhoven University of Technology. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a Process Innovation Certification from Cambia Health Solutions in October 2014.
