Cory Smith is the Co-Founder and CEO of Wisdom Labs, a company that partners with the world’s leading organizations to help them build a more purposeful, inclusive, and productive culture.

Prior to Wisdom Labs, Cory served as the first Innovation Fellow for the City of San Francisco under Mayor Edwin M. Lee. In this role, Cory launched the city’s first civic innovation lab and worked on a number of initiatives to make city government more effective and efficient.

Before their work in government, Cory was the CEO of Hub Bay Area, one of the first co-working spaces in the country. Cory grew Hub Bay Area from a small startup to a 20,000 square foot space that was the nexus point for entrepreneurship, funding, and mission-driven work in the Bay Area.

Cory also served as the CEO of Social Capital Markets (SOCAP), the largest conference dedicated to impact investing and social entrepreneurship. Cory grew SOCAP into a multi-platform organization that connected social entrepreneurs with investors from around the world.

Cory’s work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, and Forbes. Cory is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Wesleyan University.

Cory Smith has a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Colgate University in Geneva, Switzerland and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa. Cory Smith is currently pursuing a career in international business.
