Odessa Perez

Odessa has been working production in the transformative healing and arts fields for over 15 years. She is the founding producer of the award-winning Your Move Dance Festival in Jersey City, NJ, which just celebrated its 10th season. She has held various curating, coordinating and producing roles in small and large scale events on both the east and west coasts. This will be her 4th consecutive year with the Wisdom Team.

Odessa holds an MA in Somatic Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies and a BA in Dance, Theater Arts, and Sociology from Rutgers University. She facilitates transformative embodiment in group workshops and individual sessions using ThetaHealing, bodywork, movement and somatic therapy. She is deeply passionate about the body’s innate capacity to heal all kinds of trauma (including systemic oppression and attachment trauma) through movement, touch, and deepening our felt sense of community belonging.
