Michael Stenman

Michael Stenman has a diverse work experience starting from 2007. Michael is currently serving as the Group CIO at Wise Group AB since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Newsec as the Head of Digital Business Solutions from October 2019 to November 2022. Michael also briefly held the position of Head of Business Solutions at Newsec in October 2019.

Before joining Newsec, Michael worked at SWECO for almost a decade. Michael held various roles during their time at SWECO, including Head of Business IT Solutions from April 2016 to October 2019. Michael also served as the Group Manager & Business Relationship Manager at Sweco IT, where they led a group of system management leaders and system managers. Additionally, they held the positions of System Management Leader, Project Manager & Business IT relations and System Management Leader at SWECO from October 2011 to August 2014.

Michael began their career as a Consultant at Konsultbolag1 in June 2009. Michael worked on assignments at Swedbank and Länsförsäkringar Liv, LFAB, where they contributed to insurance projects by working on requirements, testing, and test management.

Michael also worked at Länsförsäkringar as a Consultant from 2008 to 2010. Michael gained experience in consultancy through various roles at Komet AB, ISS Mayday, Perido Skills AB, BAE Systems, and C-ITS BAE Systems in 2008.

Michael Stenman attended Stockholm University from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia: Pedagogics and Technology.
